This booklet is a narration of social events leading to creation of Varna and caste system, its social consequences, along with enumeration of means to replace it with an egalitarian social structure. Institution of castes and sub-castes in Hinduism, designed by Brahmans with scriptural support is illogical and irrational. Hindu religion, like other religions, is a tyrannical instrument to subserve the economic interests of the rich in society. An analysis of history reveals that the Dravidians came to India as early as 3500 B.C. The Aryan kings, equipped with superior weapons and knowledge, defeated them. The Aryans invented the Varna system to enslave the non-Aryans, and developed religious institutions to accumulate wealth, as is visible in their offerings in and to the temples. To overcome it, a single culture, i.e. ‘Human Culture’, is required. The culture of humanity will eliminate caste hierarchies, class and gender inequalities, and rituals for collecting wealth. Human culture will thus be a socialist culture.
