Written in poetic form, the booklet focuses on the origins of Brahmins, its atrocious acts and its concomitant consequences, painful to a majority of population in India. Kstriyas (Nagavanshis) the original inhabitants were overpowered by Brahmins with scriptural weapons. People was divided on Varna-basis. This was challenged by the Saints of the Bhakti movement especially Ravidas, Kabir, Maluk das, Dadu and Rahim. Before them, Buddha made immense contribution by uprooting Brahminical hegemony which was given a new from by Jyotiba Phule. Ambedker basing his thought on the past attacked this perennially ill organization. But untouchables continue to be deprived of entry into temples and forced to live under thatched roofs. Worse than dogs eat over trods of upper-castes. Dalits today are asking for returning those rights which was snatched from them centuries before. Only then an egalitarian society can come to exist. Plastering the wounds of dalits will decay the civilization oldest and richest in the world
